Chemical receipt
Record incoming chemicals and their quantities.
Track real quantities by facility, building, and room. Threshold alerts fire before you cross a reportable limit - not in the scramble afterward - and roll straight into your Tier II totals.
Follow chemical inventory from receipt and location updates to facility totals and Tier II reporting preparation.
Getting started with your chemical inventory?
Record incoming chemicals and their quantities.
Review chemical inventory by storage location.
Review facility-level chemical quantities.
Use inventory information to prepare Tier II reporting.
Inventory kept once a year for the Tier II filing is a snapshot that was wrong the day after it was taken. The cost is not the spreadsheet work - it is discovering in February that a chemical crossed its threshold quantity last August and should have been reported, or that an Extremely Hazardous Substance sat above its TPQ without a Section 302 notification.
Record where chemicals actually sit, not just that the site holds them. Quantities roll up from room to building to facility to organisation, so you can answer a local fire code question and a corporate rollup from the same data.
Thresholds for EPCRA Section 302 Extremely Hazardous Substances and Section 312 reporting are applied continuously against live quantities. Alerts fire as you approach a limit, while you can still act on it.
Receive containers by barcode so inventory reflects what arrived, and reconcile periodically against what is physically on the shelf rather than against last year's list.
Annual maximum and average daily amounts are derived from the quantities you have been tracking all year, so the Tier II report is generated from the record rather than assembled from memory each February.
Book a 30-minute walkthrough and we'll run threshold screening on one of your own facilities during the call.
